3 Fun Textures in Acrylics

Texture and Color are always fun.

Relaxing and exciting, at the same time.

Gorgeous aquamarines with copper and gold and a deep prussian blue in the first image were beautiful to work with.  The Naples Yellow, Cobalt Teal Blue and the soft neutral greys  in the next two were ….. Super fun!

The act of creation, in any media is a fascinating and magical process. I simply love to create. Expressing in color, line, tone, texture - as if, they were words upon a page. Creating a uniquely me, interpretation. Enjoy More of my "one-of-a-kind" expressive art at society6.com/debiriley and, redbubble.com/people/debijriley/shop

    1. hi and Happy NYE Maureen; thank you 🙂 I had to smile….. I do agree about being tempted, but persist for a while with the one medium ! too many pots on the stove drives even me bonkers LOL

      1. sometimes, when you really want to give them a go…. i suggest nice and easy; and, start off though with acrylics using them just like you would watercolors and then slowly, change it up! esp. with the palette knife on damp paper… that is so similar to wc, and super fun 🙂
