Christmas Trees…. out in nature

watercolor painting, holiday art, Christmas trees paintings, debiriley.com

Watercolors. Splashed upon a pure white paper.

The Rekab brush dances along in harmony.

A song plays.

Nature sings, so finely.

The act of creation, in any media is a fascinating and magical process. I simply love to create. Expressing in color, line, tone, texture - as if, they were words upon a page. Creating a uniquely me, interpretation. Enjoy More of my "one-of-a-kind" expressive art at society6.com/debiriley and, redbubble.com/people/debijriley/shop

      1. Thanks Debi – you are such a kind person. Yes – I am quite pleased with my painting. I am enjoying painting without a plan and pushing more energy into the painting with the palette knife. I am careful not to go to crazy with the palette knife (art books say it could end up making one’s work boring). But for now, that is what I am doing!

    1. thank you Carol! it was on quite Damp paper… which softened those edges so nicely! as the paper dries, the edges get harder creating the ‘look’ of Foreground 🙂

  1. There is something really nostalgic about this. It takes me back to when I was a little girl learning to do silk screening. I did trees like that…certainly not as good as what you have done…but the memory came flooding in fast!
