Its still cool enough here in Perth, Western Australia that the roses are in full bloom. No. Not my roses. No, not the neighbor’s roses …. this time either!
I discovered these beauties in my local fish market. Its a small family run fish shop that sells deliciously fresh seafoods.

Nice people. They share.
They bring from home their surplus of perfumed rose blooms and set out magnificent bouquets for their customers viewing pleasure.
I haven’t decided yet, whether I might play with my oils, my pastels or acrylics & palette knife…. I’m ….. thinking.
Beautiful colors! Looking forward to seeing what medium you choose, and the finished painting.

Beautiful roses. Maybe stare at them a bit more and inspiration will come π I’m sure it will be a good painting, and all good things take time. It is good that it is cool enough for roses in Perth. Here in Melbourne it was a warm weekend but we are going back to cooler weather next week. I am sure the flowers and trees will be happy π
