Green has its Own Sound

Created by  blending  Yellow  (optimism and clarity)  with  Blue (calm and insight.)

I find  the color Green sings its own enchanting song.

For me, the song is soft and pure.

Inspiring Hope.

The color Green with its notes of renewal and growth, offers a wonderful sense and feeling of “Generosity of Soul.”  How beautiful.

Some of my art images here are new, some are old. Some are watercolors, some are acrylics or even photographic art creations.    It doesn’t really matter, does it?

Its the “Song,”  that matters this Monday morning.

A Softly inspiring Song, that whispers to us of Hope and generosity.  Of lovely good things, this Monday.

From the first awakening starting image, to the middle guiding us onwards,  to the soft relaxing finish…each Green sings its own lovely inspiring notes.

The act of creation, in any media is a fascinating and magical process. I simply love to create. Expressing in color, line, tone, texture - as if, they were words upon a page. 1. thanks! it is Annali 🙂 did you ‘feel’ how the images started so chirpy, wakening up… and then with each image progressively leading towards the calmer, more zen feeling? I was sure hoping, that people would get a feel for that in the post!! hope you have a good day, green and softly lovely 🙂 cheers, Debi

    1. thanks Jodi. I created this journey of Greens with people in mind. the ferns were for my grandmother, the azaleas for my mother in law, the sea grass My coastal roots, the collage and jade rivers 2 artist friends, Zen Fern for me – a place to go in demanding times, Drifting is for letting GO. ocean in green blue my husband who loves the sea.
To understand the How of any of what I do, how I work, how I create, how I do any of this art – its important… to know the why in order to fully understand the how! All these things integrate with the basics. harmonize. I’m hoping, that this ‘intangible’ part of art creation that is so crucial, shines through in all that I post, all that I create. Granulation is simply choosing the right papers, the dampness of the paper, the textures, with the right granulating pigments… that will say and communicate the message you are wanting to convey. these are a mix of greens, blues, blacks from phalos, to viridian, ultramarine and indanthrone. I used several.. so even I wouldn’t get THAT Duplicated result again. but, I think I’d want to say something “new” anyway. Something to swoon over. to be enchanted with anew. Hilary Page, Michael Wilcox are superb authors that I totally recommend for help with paints. they are brilliant. but, trial and error or I call it “research and development” work even better. awful. horrible. ugly. mistakes. failures. aren’t the words I use for things that don’t go as planned.

  1. What a wonderful song of green to start my afternoon crafting Debi. Green and all the shades that came with it is my favorite color. The color of life, and I agree with you….hope and generosity. The song repeatedly singing in my heart at the moment. Ah yes, its a great start of the week. A blessed happy Monday, Debi!
