John Lennon’s song has been playing a soft refrain in my mind this early Monday morning. Imagination,  to imagine something,  is the beginning spark of its creation. To call it into existence.

I can imagine a softer, kinder, more generous world. I’m lucky enough to be an artist – I can also create this world with my brushes, paints, my paper and canvas or my camera. And my words as I teach.

I can replace the hard lines, sharp tones,  and harsh edges with softer gentler tones, colours, lines and looks. We can.

    1. hi Jodi, thank you! I imagined a kinder world all day long. Even, with ‘cranky pants’ drivers, waving at me. (I think their other fingers might be broken though.) lol

      1. I cannot tell you how decent the weather is here in November-March, hehe. Nobody else is riding into the rain, storm, hail, etc. and I would like to sit inside, too, but then my legs are hurting and that makes me crazy. Even the best illness is for the birds, as my great-aunt said, but I know there are worse illnesses :((
