Forest Lake Reflections a semi abstract composition using Cerulean Blue in watercolours and Burnt Sienna in inks.

I’ve allowed the two colours to merge and flow into intriguing patterns making sure there is adequate light tone, mid tone and dark tone through out the entire design.
The act of creation, in any media is a fascinating and magical process. I simply love to create. Expressing in color, line, tone, texture - as if, they were words upon a page. Creating a uniquely me, interpretation. Enjoy More of my "one-of-a-kind" expressive art at society6.com/debiriley and, redbubble.com/people/debijriley/shop

Is there a figure on the lake, or is that just my imagination? I see a bird too. I learn so much from the other artists here; thanks for explaining your composition!
all the loose soft edges and random patterns create hints of things that invite a more in depth viewer engagement in the image. I didn’t specifically place the bird/figure in- but if they’ve emerged – they are there now 🙂
Wow, this is really lovely!
