Learn as you go

Today’s  post is a divergence from my regular postings on art, materials, painting etc.  But I did want to take the time to say a big thank you to all those who are reading my posts and who are providing comments & suggestions!

As with all things (painting too)   the blog posting is  very much a  “Learn as I go” process.  I’ve found some of my photos to be quite large and taking up too much space, plus I’m working on trying to obtain a balanced ratio of photos into the posts; all the while trying to make sure I’m posting regularly.  Learning to juggle for the first time in front of an audience, great entertainment value.  It is a challenge, something new.  And I am finding it fun!

Some of you have asked me about what platform I use – well,  I actually I had to ask my husband what a platform was! I’m an artist,  definitely not a computer techie.  He laughed….with me.  But then,  he was kind enough to set it up for me.

Anyway,  I use   WORDPRESS     with the theme  Hero.    It seems easy enough for me to load things on and type my information in.

And for all the enthused readers and viewers – maybe I will have to develop a “shop” page.  Each time I post, I  learn something new to do differently next time.

Thank you again for taking the time to stop, read,  like and  share.

Have a lovely holiday.  Cheers,

Debi

The act of creation, in any media is a fascinating and magical process. I simply love to create. Expressing in color, line, tone, texture - as if, they were words upon a page. Creating a uniquely me, interpretation. Enjoy More of my "one-of-a-kind" expressive art at society6.com/debiriley and, redbubble.com/people/debijriley/shop
